White Star Line Trunk

Not sure what sort of trunk this is, it belongs to my partner, he got it by doing a bit of decorating work for a friend, not sure if the label 'white star line, baggage, New York to Liverpool' has any thing to do with the Titanic sister ship, it also has the the names AJ Gwyther, Regina, J Cleverley and Canada written on boards on the inside of the trunk, we do know the White Star Line sailed hundreds of times from New York to Liverpool and that there was a passenger called Mrs Cleverley on board but that don't mean or tell us much, it is a very heavy well made trunk and a very nice piece.
