She is about 14 1/2" tall and from should to shoulder about 8" wide. This is truly a mystery to me. I only found a couple of red marks on the bottom (which had felt covering it). Looks Italian to me but I'm no expert. This is a piece that has not been cleaned and I will not be cleaning her. I found online a bust of woman holding child under the name Emilio Fiaschi (which is an Italian Sculptor) that this looks a lot alike. I'm not even sure of the material she is made out of and what she is glazed with. But it's a mother and child ......and I fell in love with their smiles to each other. Any info will be appreciated. thank you PhilDavidAlesnaderMorris, your piece is beautiful. Where do I take it to get repaired is the question? I usually buy just pottery/stoneware but this piece stole my heart and had to have it. I'm going to have to get a beautiful stand like you have to display her....makes it look so elegant.
