A family trunk came over on a boat in the 60's from France. Unfortunately the paper on the top was messed up so I just refinished it. I liked the paper on it so I left the rest to highlight and make a nice contrast.

This trunk is beautiful. I am trying to identify mine. Given your expertise, I was hoping you could take a look at it - and insight would be much appreciated. I have just started using trunks for decorating purposes.
