Hi....Just "found" this nice Wolsey Easel..Original paint included...Wondering if anyone could tell us anything about this nice find...Wolsey Co. City of Industry Calif USA is on tag...Handle appears to be old and it works..Paint tray ? does go up & down......May use as display for a large picture...I think we will leave the Original paint on it for decoration...Any other uses You can think of for this large easel ?.....Any help with id or any info would be great to know...Thank You for looking and helping ....

Awesome find. I believe this company is still in biz here in Cali. This looks to be from the 50's would be a guesstimate. Don't have concrete info for you tho. Just thought I'd say I like it :)

Hello, My mother was the Advertising Manager for Wolsey company for many years. The company closed in about the mid-90's. They had a big store/warehouse in City of Industry and sold art supplies and frames, etc to stores like Michael s. So I actually have my mother's easel still that looks like that. Probably from anywhere from the 70s to the 80s was when it was made - is my guess. Glad you like it! Love the paint on it. Gives it character :}
