    (2 items)

Again like the brooch i have put on here, these earrings were given to my nans grandmother back in the 1920s, are they emeralds or paste? The silver marking number is different to the brooch so im assuming they are 2 seperate pieces. Again looking for information and their value. Still in the original box, well made, well looked after.

These stones are paste, emerald color, but certainly not the real thing...
The fantastic thing is they are in unworn condition!
To have an idea of the value, seek for 1920 deco emerald paste silver in Ebay SOLD (not only ended...)items.

Why paste? Only because fine real emeralds were never only silver mounted... On the other side, not ALL precious stones platinum or gold mounted are real! (owners could had them removed, sold, and replaced by fakes...)
