I was helping my mother clean out her craft room when we came across this beautiful Volupte powder compact, she remembers getting it at a garage sale a few years back, but just forgot about it once she put it away, so she gave it to me.
Much attention went into creating this compact and I can not seem to find one exactly like this one on the internet (N0t even close to it) So I have no information about this item, nor what year it came out.
Here are the details of this Volupte Powder Compact:
Material: Metal appears to be brass
Outside: 3 Cherubs maybe bone or alabaster within a black background
15 Brass (?) hearts with 15 tiny clear stones at the base
Beautiful scalloped edges, only found a couple with this type of edge
Backside has no design (color is same as the front)
Inside: Mirror (no chips or cracks)
Metal plate with the Volupte logo above puff and powder
Powder Puff with Volupte Logo and in excellent condition
Metal bottom tray to store the powder underneath the puff
Dimensions: 6 in x 4 1/2 in x 3/4"
If anyone has any ideas on this item, what material it is made of, and/or the range of years this came out, please update me.
***WAS WELL TAKEN CARE OF AND JUST ABOUT IN PERFECT CONDITION***
NO MARKS, NICKS, MARKINGS, CRACKS, ETC
Putting this out once more. Hopefully, someone may be able to provide information on this vintage compact... please? I can't find another one like it anywhere online.
