    Hi can anyone help? I have been told this is south american, it is wicker, with leather with a lid it has a leather strap, 13 1/2" high it was some kind of carrier, but cant find anything about it thank you

      It's African, a traditional milk or water bottle, from Kenya.

      It's a real traditional style, made for years. But they don't last long with use, and in the climate, so most likely made in the last half of the 20th century.
