I think this one is IKEA.
I know what you mean by the Ikea thing -some of their glass is pretty good.

Oh , thanks for that, I had been wondering.... I only paid five dollars for it so I'm still happy, and it does appear to be good quality. Just goes to show, you can never be too careful. Do you happen to have an image out of a catalogue I could see? I know there is another squat shaped vase in the range , just interested in the other colours etc. davey8trafalgar(at)gmail.com
