WWI USMC MARINE CORPS in US ARMY 2nd Division uniforms RPPC

I'm really excited about this. Ebay fresh, a "buy it now" for $15.00...a bit more than I would normally pay for a WWI RPPC, however, to find two U.S. Marines, wearing U.S. ARMY 2nd Division uniforms, WITH the Marine Corps E.G.A. hat insignia, truly is a RARE find!
Also note, the VERY YOUNG Marine who is sitting, has 3 overseas chevrons on his left sleeve, indicating he was overseas for at least 1 1/2 years. On his right sleeve is a single "wound" chevron, indicating he was wounded in action. (This was BEFORE the Purple heart medal existed) Also note that the shoe on the young seated Marine (who looks no more than 16 years old) the heel has been cut away on his shoe. He obviously has a foot injury, and one can assume it occurred in combat. He also carries a cane to help him walk. If you look close at his collar discs, he is wearing the RARE French made E.G.A. collar discs.
The Marine standing up has his shirt collar exposed and folded over, hiding any collar insignia, if any. Both Marines wear E.G.A. hat badges, however it appears that the standing Marine is wearing an Officer's right side collar E.G.A., as the anchor is facing the wrong way.
A very RARE image, and I am happy to have it in my collection. Unfortunately, about an inch of the top of thr RPPC had been cut away, possibly to make it fit in a frame.
