I got this at a Flea Mkt...It's supposed to be made by Progress, and light enough to carry with a strap. It has swivel handles with bottle openers on both ends.I would like to restore it,but cannot find a photo of one...all of them on Ebay are newer versions with a different latching setup.
Thanks,any help is appreciated.
Please post a link to one if you can....I have seen plenty of the newer ones, not this model though...I would be interested in seeing a mint one.

This is my cooler I picked up a short while ago. It is the same cooler but mine only has a bottle opener on one handle and it is red as you can see. Don't know if this helps just thought I would share.
We have one of those and my hubby researched it and found out it is a 1950 cooler.
Ours has bottle openers on both ends and in red it says " drink Coca Cola in Bottles" He found it some where on the web and it is worth $250.00. We want $200.00 for ours.
Thanks Light...That will narrow it down some...I'm trying to get a photo of one so I can see how the lid is secured. It must be pretty rare since I have looked at a ton of sites with no match yet. There is a Coke collectors meet in ATL soon.Maybe I will check it out.
With our cooler the handles rotate and there are little hasp type things and when you turn the handles it locks the lid. The picture of yous doesn't seem to have the hasp rivited on it. Look for little rivit holes. Hope this was also helpful.
I have one of these coolers, very nostalgic. What's the value, if any?
I just got one today at a estate sale I look at the cooler and I had to have it . Like to see what I can get for it . Please if you find out anything email me thanks good luck.
I love it ,it would go great with my 51 Chevy truck.
