This is a deep-set (3/4" deep in center) 13 1/2" diameter silverplate platter made by Meriden Silver Plate Company / International Silver Company.
Meriden Silver Plate Co. and International Silver Co. merged in 1898.
The only pattern is around the rim and an impressed emblem at the top (about 11 o'clock in picture 1; 12 in pic 2) - there is quite a lot of silverplate which has come off due to this having been found half-buried in sand. - The third picture is the backstamp which was used up until 1938, and the number 14. - Circa is 1920-1938
