Unusual claw foot table?

This massive claw foot table came to me by way of my grandparents. I believe it came through their furniture stripping shop, or was purchased by them around that time. The chairs have a fumigation tag from 11/6/69, from Bushells auction house in Seattle (since gone under). It's quite large- 5ft in diameter, but an additional three leaves expand it to 8ft long. It's not in perfect condition, as the photos show- the veneer is damaged in a number of places, and the top has dents from a fallen chandelier. The top and base are solid, but the end grain is covered with veneer, as are the columns (I think). There are four matching chairs, two of them arm chairs.
The only markings on the table are the numbers 3392 35. It's stamped into the wood in one spot, and faintly stenciled in another. There are flathead screws in some places, but the slides are all wood. I'm hoping to get some ideas towards researching where it came from, and whether it's worth having appraised. It doesn't look like any other claw foot tables I've seen, so I really don't know where to start. Thanks!
P.S., there is no varnish, just a recent coat of feed-n-wax that's giving it a sheen in the photos.
