I am trying to identify a maker, type of wood for this dining room set.
The history:
Basically, this was purchased by the past owners parents in Germany when they were stationed there. 1960-1962 I believe. The chairs are no longer with the table. The table has 2 leaves that go with it.
The two bottom cabinets can be linked at the bottom with a piece of wood to join them (came with it originally in case you wanted to have it as a wall piece.
The top piece of the credenza is a hutch piece that is the same width as the larger cabinet. It also has a bottom piece that can be put on with the 4 remaining legs to set as a separate piece.
The edges of the cabinet are beveled so thought it likely Danish. I believe the wood is teak. I would love any help I could get with this such as maker or similar pieces. The only piece exact that I have seen is up for sale online and was purchased in Europe (not sure of country) and brought back to the US by the owner.
Thanks so much.
