Tea cup and saucer

This little cup and saucer is so translucent you can see right through it. Weighing in at a slight 68grams for the cup and 95 grams for the saucer.
I have no idea of its origins or age as it has no markings.
I am guessing its porcelain, which has been painted by hand with decorative bands of porcelain slip(?) applied over the top as the dots and dashes are all raised. The glaze has faults as there are a few tiny dimples and black spots scattered throughout but mainly in the teacup itself.
I would love to know something about my little treasure if you can help please.
