Hello....from what I can remember these were handed down from an Aunt of my mother-in-law. The were from the mid-west and of Eastern European descent. There is a lot of info on the internet and I have read 'til exhaustion, but could not narrow down a maker, pattern, year etc.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
The vase measures 11.75" X 3.5" base X 5" top. The flowers appear to be double etched(?) in that they look like an attempt to show dimension. Same pattern all four sides with a star on bottom.
The bowl measure 11.25l X 7.25w X 5.25h.
The glass is clear yet has some bend when looking through. No makers mark, stamp or etching. No seams or bubbles. Appear to have been used, but not heavily.
I just dug them out of a cabinet and was thinking about displaying them. I would like to be able to tell someone about them. Again any help or direction would be greatly appreciated. I know there are books out there, but money is tight and I am not a real collector.
Thank You.
I can only speak to the vase, as I have an identical one. From what I remember, it's McKee Glass and it's a hybrid - a cross between pressed glass and cut glass. It might be called "Innovation." @bdeclee Thank you, great lead. I will spend some time tonight reading up. Appreciate the help.
