I need help identify the maker of this dinnerware. The Maker stamp has a moon and a star, with words "Cyprus Australia." Is it an antique piece? It is not microwaveable for sure :)
    I appreciate any input.

    Thanks,
    Linda

Says "Austria" not "Australia" - google "austria porcelain crescent moon and star mark" - there are two other examples shown but little information on the maker.
One is just the moon & star with Austria, the other is like yours but says "Stamboul" instead of Cyprus. (Stamboul was an old-country name once used for Istanbul)

Very interesting. Close enough of a match. Just a little geography difference :) I really appreciate the info!
