    Thought these two little planters where really nice. I picked them up from Salvation Army this morning. One is a little Chinese boy eating from a rice bowl and the other is a shepherd playing a flute. They're about the same size. One is 5" tall the other is 6" tall. Both are in fairly good shape. A couple of hairlines in one planter pocket and the other has a small hole in the bottom. Looks like someone drilled a drainage hole from the underside because there a large chip missing from the inside bottom. I'll guess they're anywhere from the 1930's to 50's in age. Maybe Shawnee pottery or American Bisque as they have no marks or labels. -Mike-

      These were made by Cameron Clay Products of West Virginia. Their wares had a completely dry bottom.
