this is a beautifu bone china blue and white jug. it has raised decorations on both side, which appears to be a lady a kangaroo and a bird about to fly. on the handle there is a Goats head raised decoration on the side. the beak is also decorated with a man figure. no marks are visible though which makes it a mistery find for me, i ahave tried to see who has made something like this and i just cannot get any info as it is pretty different to what i have seen before. the raised decoration is glazed as it is the rest of the jug and it really looks nice. any info welcome.
Hi, Jay, your jug is lovely.
My "guess only," and welcome corrections from the experts on this board, is that your relief moulded jug or pitcher with a mask spout is English. Here is a similar one on the Lovers of Blue & White website, blueandwhite dot dom, members of numerous societies and clubs.
The site states the maker is unattributed:

Thank you for your response. Yeah it seems the same just the mould design change. In my opinion it is older than 1930s mine looks pretty worn. The Kangaroo on the decoration makes me think of Australia a little. I don't why but i have not seen many English ware with kangaroo designs on them.
