This door stop is 10" high & 8" long. It was given to me by my deceased Aunt, who would be over 100 now if living. It's in good shape, not rusted. Guess some paint might be chipped off in places, but really can't tell if its that or the markings. There is a little red tongue, no collar. I can't find any identifying marks. Would appreciate someones comments.
beautiful!!
It isn't a Hubley so you can rule that maker out. Hubley only made two piece stops like this and all had either one or two flat head screws holding them together. They were made in 5", 8" and 10". The screws were always in the left side. One screw units the screw was in the rib cage. Two screw had one screw in the neck and another in the flank. Hubley also made a left facing version which is extremely rare but the screws are nonetheless on the left side in them also. This appears to be a single piece cast.
