Got it from a 17 yr old ..
The story
Her parents owned an antique store somewhere that they had forever. The father died and the mother met someone new. They closed the store and the mother went to another state with new boyfriend leaving the daughter with all the stuff from the store in her house. The mother wants to stay with boyfriend in another state and told daughter she needed to help her sale everything so she could sell the house. So daughter not knowing anything about the stuff and mother just wanting out we got this unique stuff .. I was told there was another like mediation piece that supposedly went with it but the mother wants to keep it. She didn't want to part with the trunk at all at first but between my hubbie and her daughter they talked her into letting it go. She said they came off a ship in the early 1800s but was unsure of the date.
