From the estate of the original owner. 1966 Blue Sparkle Ludwig drum kit. Went to see a friend and she ask if I knew anyone who would be interested in an old drum set. I said maybe...
She took me next door and upstairs covered in dust was this! She was the executor of the estate and has been selling it off over the last couple years. I made an offer on the spot and after checking serial numbers called back and raised it a bit.
She called today and said I could pick them up.
I am stoked, this is just cleaned with a damp cloth, will probably break them down and polish the hardware when I get time.
Paiste cymbals, not Zildgian but, Hey, you can't have everything.
Also got the 1964-66 Slingerland snare and case, this thing is NICE!
