Approx. 150 lbs solid brass Foghorn. Made By Wallace & Tiernan Pre 1930,s. Powered by 16-24 volt. Audible range up to 3 nautical miles, on a nice day. Of course horn needs to be mounted at high elevation for further sound. Very amazing sound. The sound is a note of from 200 to 225 cycles frequency. This frequency was chosen to present the best operation mechanically, is distinctive, and carries well
Under average conditions. Equivalent to a 2500lb. Bell mechanically struck under most conditions.
