Unknown steamer trunk....any ideas?

This trunk has been in my family home for as long as I can remember. I understand that it was my great grandmothers, used when she sailed from England to canada many years ago...but am not 100% sure.

They came with nothing much, so I am assuming this is a run of the mill trunk from this era (?) but am not sure. There are no obvious identifying labels or stamps.

Does anyone know who this was made by, and if it would fit that era?
