Beautiful mystery bottle

This bottle stands 9.5", and it has an odd shape. The glass is heavy, there are hundreds of bubbles that seem like part of the decoration. There are stretch marks at the neck, the handle is applied and beautifully formed. The Pontil, if that is one, seems to have been polished or smoothed. There does not appear to be an applied finish and I do not see mold lines. I am not certain whether it is an antique hand blown bottle or a newer art glass piece. I have no idea what the shape is, or if it has a name/type. Any info would be appreciated :)
