I realize it states not to post requests here, however, when searching the site for "can you help identify" it directs me here.

I recently purchased this lighter from a yard sale and have no idea if it is real or what type it is. It is stamped "dunhill" "swiss made" and some design that looks like a "dome" w/ a slash and A D on it. It measures approx 2 1/2" x 1" x 1/4" and is stamped with a K1 inside where the flame would be.

    Any information is greatly appreciated.

have you done a google search on 'Dunhill lighter gold A D'? that would be a good start. you can quickly move through images of them until you see one which is similar. that should give you some info, which you then use to search some more.

This texture reminds me of bark, perhaps you could start there?

Thank you EVERYONE for your comments and knowledge. This Dunhill has been a chore to figure out. It is a Dunhill Rollaglas Gold plated BARK pattern, but that is where it stops. I could not find any other lighter online, ebay, amazon, etc that was a match. I found many with the same pattern and same markings, but none have the "roller" that mine has. I really now just want to narrow down a date and if it was worth my $60 investment. Thanks again to everyone that replied.
