    It is cast iron and is 5 inches long.We think it is a tool .Do not no any history. Got it in a box at an auction and have be asking and showing it to our Antique dealer here but no one can identify it.

      I would say a meat tenderizer also. Or something to hold meat while being sliced.

      Was there by chance another one with it that had more tapered, pointed prongs? It kind of looks like a coarse ice chipper.

      Fhrjr2 is probably right. I should have thought of that as I couldn't find on in Jamaica & had to make one.
