This mint sign was also picked in southern Indiana. The date is March 10,1947. This type sign would be on a gas pump.

Hello, I'm wondering how to tell a reproduction from an authentic old gas sign. I have two (Sky Chief Texaco 3-12-1945, like this one, and a Texaco Fire Chief 3-3-1956) that I was told are original, but I've also been told it is not. Any suggestions? Thank you for any help. I could even send photos. Kathy
If you want to send me pics i can tell you if its real or not.
