    Vintage Patek Phillipe Geneve pen.
Well I saw a Lady looking at pens in a jar and later I looked in the same jar and found a few vintage pens The first one I inspected from the jar looked like a metal pen I turned it to highlight any markings and it said Patek Phillip and thought "that's a watch company I didn't think they made writing instruments however it seems they decided to make a pen and I have one.
On the top button it says Dache + Swiss Made.
These must be quite rare. I look on the internet and found only a few vague pens but primarily wrist watches were made Patek.
It has a hexagonal body .
It is engraved with 10 parallel lines on each face of the hexagonal sides except the side where the name is placed.
It may have an ink cartridge inside or a refillable tube I haven't got a clue how to change or recharge the ink tube it must come apart somehow.

The mechanical operation of the top button which extends or retracts the ballpoint is smooth as silk and still works and I also used the pen for taking notes which is amazing after 50 years of sitting.
So the ballpoint must also be made of titanium and the ink tube must also be made of titanium. It will never wear out in 300 years and of course We always lose pens before they wear out.

Yes, people DO collect pens...this is a nice choice. And since you do collect them, did you know that the older "dip pens" or fountain pens that were dipped in ink usually had a gold tip? At the moment, I don't recall the actual carot but they were solid gold!
