I bought this at a second hand store in about 1987 to 1991. I have eight books on cookie jars and a red fish is not listed. It has a sticker label on bottom that says "metlox manufactoring". In Roerigs book III it does not list this as being reproduced. Anyone have info on this jar? I have about 100 jars and this is one of my favorites as it is so unique.

I found in the Metlox Potteries Iden. & values book by Carl Gibbs Jr., page 196, shows pattern Pescado, spanish for fish, this cookie jar came in solid colors and P 073 Rose was produced in 1988. It also shows on page 199 that in the solid colors, the jar books for $125 - $ 150. This book was printed in 2001 so it is an old value. It may be more or less now. Hope that helps.
