We live in Exmouth & have a 2 mile long beach ,,yellow sand, and an estuary that goes all the way to exeter.. ideal for wind/kite surfers , kayakers, paddleboarding as its shallow water when the tides in and ideal for dog walkers ,cockleing, digging bait for fishing when tides out as its virtually empy and mostly sand & cockle beds !! There are lots of beaches around here a common and Dartmoor national park , cornwall an hour away !!as far as weather it doesnt really get too cold in the winters -4 ish coldest & summer can reach up to high 80ºs but normally around 65º-75º.. no nastys here only adder (snake) & youll have to be very lucky to see one .. ive only ever seen 3 in my lifetime ..and that was in the countryside ,, Exmouth is a very small town- five minutes and your through but has a nice selection of pubs / restaurants shops etc.. look on google earth or the exmouth webcam live .. sd
