I went to a garage sale last week and found this wonderful Victorian era Bowl for a Bride's Basket. When I asked the sellers if they had the stand for it, they advised me that it had always sat in a display cabinet for as long as they could remember. They concluded that it was probably owned by an old aunt of their father. They had no idea that it was anything but a candy dish. I suppose that I'll be on the lookout for a proper Victorian Silver Stand for it or sell it by itself. It is quite large at 10 1/2" across and has Peachblow hues in the center. The satin milk glass under-base is marked underneath with a 10. The Crimping is quite intensive around the edge. I suspect that it is probably Bohemian but I really don't know....Can anyone tell me more about it, thanks, BOB
