Really cool collection, I only can tell you about one of these bottles 2nd picture from the left, back row, is a Japanese, Kokeshi, Rainbow Liquor Bottle, imported by The House of Koshu, LA, CA sometime in the 1960s they originally came in 7 distinct flavors, Sakura (cherry), Banana, Mizuiro (Blue Curacao), Mikam (mandarin-orange), Reishu (melon), Midori (menthe), Sumire (violet) and were also given as gifts by those flying 1st class to Japan.
The one that caught my eye first is the Seagram's Crown Royal Canadian Whiskey & second the Seagram's 7.
The Seagram Company Ltd. was a large corporation headquartered in Montreal, Quebec, Canada that was once the largest distiller of alcoholic beverages in the world.
Established in 1857, by 1883 Joseph E. Seagram was sole owner.
In 1928 the Bronfman family of Montreal acquired it & prospered greatly during & after from Prohibition in the U S.
Poor decisions by Edgar Bronfman, Jr between 1995 & 2000 ended the Bronfman family empire.
The dismantling of the Seagram empire resulted in one of the biggest financial losses sustained by a single family.
Thanks for the good info!!I remember my Grandfather would go to Japan maybe he got that bottle on the flight!
