Found this 10" Haeger art pottery stork planter at Salvation Army this morning. This planter has a couple of different incarnations and colors. They all use the same stork figure but the planter pockets were different depending on what they wanted. There were the nursery ones that have a bassinet planter pocket for baby shower gifts and all purpose ones with a simple cup or shell for the planter. The colors included blue, pink, and ivory and maybe green and yellow. This gave multiple uses for basically the same piece. Mine didn't have a label but I know Haeger's trade mark bottoms so I really didn't need it for an ID. Picture four is what the label would have looked like though. Usually small foil labels that fall or wash off easily over time. -Mike-
Thanks for the "loves" val and Ken :) Well, I might find one or two of these vintage pieces a year and I have to say our Salvation Army store is awesome. It's just a little over a year old and as big as a Walmart. It's in Avon Ken. On 83 off route 2. Very easy to get to.
