Original 1925 " Party Girl " Coca Cola Serving Tray. Measures 10 1/2 inches by 13 1/4 inches. The identification markings are there. On the bottom edge of picture, from left to right, it reads "COPYRIGHT, THE COCA-COLA CO. THE AMERICAN ART WORKS, COSHOCTON, O. MADE IN U.S.A. Plus, the trademark notation is present in the large "C" in Coca-Cola. The reproductions lacked this as well. This tray is absolutely gorgeous, and in great condition for it's age. pappabear135@comcast.net
I have a "party girl" coca-cola 1925 serving tray. It's about a grade 8 out of 10. Depending on the condition [of course], how much is this tray worth?? I seen one on the COLA CORNER web site on sale for$625.50 reg.$695.00 Does this tray fetch that much??--Thankyou very much,--THOMAS K.
No, about $400 tops. The problem is, there is a lot of fakes of this tray. Making people very hesitant to buy.
Thankyou for responding so quickly. How can YOU tell if its a fake or the real thing. It has no writings on the tray at all. Not the front or back!!!!
make sure you look hard it's kinda hard to see the letters.
Original party girl tray has Trademark registered in "tail" of "C" in Coca (as lonelywolf said). Fake/repro tray has "Reg. U.S. Pat. Off." under logo plus has a bottle in lower right-hand corner.
Also, lacks The American Art Works, Coshocton, O. at bottom of picture.
Ray, post some of your stuff. I would love to see it. You don't get this much knowledge without having an array of red & white gold.
I have the same tray and how can you tell a fake from the original...I got mine for a dollar at a thrift store...and is very thick.
It's all described above. Read carefully
You can also tell by the messurements of the tray an original I believe is 10 3/8"
No, an original is 10 1/2 inches by 13 1/4 inches.
