Big eyed Birds condiment sets #1

The bright yellow egg shaped condiment set is marked Noritake on the bottom of the tray and the mustard pot. The set consists of six pieces: tray, pot w/lid, s&p and a yellow spoon. The bases of the s&p and the pot are green and black. It measures 3.5" tall and the tray is 7" wide. This is a favorite of mine - love the Noritake designs when I can find and afford them.

The blue egg shaped birds sit on a base which includes the body of the mustard pot. There is a little handle and two holes to hold the s&p. It has writing, mostly rubbed away, on the top front of the base which looks like "Souvenir of Guernsey." The bottom is incised 5823 with no other markings. The set consists of five pieces including a spoon. It is about 3" tall and 4.5" wide. These big eyed birds are especially endearing, at least to me.

This bizarre egg shaped set of white chicken heads sits on a base which includes all three bird bodies - the central one dressed in black suit/bow tie and white ribbed shirt. One side chick has a lavender collar, the other a blue collar. Both s&p bodies have metallic gold ties and all three have brown chicken feet (what else) and yellow wings... all this on the base of the set. On the bottom of pot and base is marked "Made in Japan." There are indentations in which each piece rests. The set consists of six pieces including spoon.
