    How nice is this ???
    A hand made & decorated pottery basket with peach, mauve ,& red roses with leaves, it is 8" wide x 3" high iin cream finish , I love it !! Looks like wickerwork,,, it is signed on the base- P or C.H. CALDAS as pictured ?? Comments appreciated ;-)

      It is a Capodimonte type style, and yours is lovely. Mine just says made in Italy and here is the Post:

      i think its called pottery lattice ware but not sure maybe pottery wicker ware :-)

      PatSea, I took a look at that site when it was posted before, but yes, my Portuguese is a little shaky, lol. My piece has a "Dutch"(?) central motif, with the white basket weave border. I've been curious about it for a while, so this thread was most interesting to me.
