Stamped with *Made in Italy* on the bottom. It is 12.5 inches wide, and 9.5 inches tall. I bought it at a yard sale for $3 dollars (CAD). Has flowers, Fruits, and Gold Gilt on it. The information I was told that it is a *Capodimonte style basket* made recently. These style baskets are very popular and used by gift companies for high end gift baskets. YES -- It is handmade (or at least woven and glazed and painted by hand). Italian Pottery takes a bit of handcrafting!

This is pretty Rose :) I see these all the time but have never picked one up yet. I have this piece which is similar (well kind a), so I guess I can join the lattice club.
