This had been sitting in the case all week at GW's and survived the weekend sale so I asked to look at it. When I turned it over and saw the half price tag I was elated and then I saw the huge chip and my enthusiasm quickly deflated. Not that obvious sitting on the table but what a shame. It was still worth the four dollars that I paid for it. It's marked in gold "Hand Made in Italy Florentine, which is smeared a bit. I love the Chinese dragon design and the gilt ribbing on the underside. The lighter portion is removable and not very big at all. No marks on it so I have no idea who made it . Looks like brass though. A really nice piece despite the damage. -Mike-
Thanks Ken :)...It was a really good day, but I hadn't been to the Cleveland area in a couple of days so that gave them a chance to put some good stuff out...lol
