First off sorry this is the best photo I could do since the back leg is broken. I purchased this Rockford desk when we lived in California nearly 10 years ago. On a move to North Carolina 4 years ago the back leg broke. The claims adjuster for that move was able to fix the leg. He did a wonderful job, the break was fixed almost like new. That adjuster specialized in furniture restorations, he told me this desk in full restored condition could fetch about $800. Well on our most recent move the leg on the secretary broke again. The claims adjuster this time said it would cost more to fix the leg then what the piece is worth. I really want this desk to be fixed. Should we attempt to fix this ourselves? Or how can I find someone to rightly replace or fix the leg?
Hard call that, without examining it.
