Picked this up for £3. Its 17"ish high in A1 condition & very heavy , also in two colours which is nice , there aren't any makers marks just a number 2 on the collar .. also no stopper !
The question is what would this have been filled with ?????
Cider, whisky, ale???????? Its a great feature wherever I put it!!
It is funny that us collectors do like the same sort of things,
wonder how many pound coins I can get into it!! Lol
LOL, the one I have belong to me great grand parents, I was told it was used to house GINGER BEER, in my country (GUYANA) it's worth based height and size, mine are from £35 - £70.

Thanks GTBOIfor your great comments !! The only ones ive seen in uk are cider & ale .. I got this from the recycling centre £3 ive seen them there before but always broken /chipped but this one looks as good as new !! Do they still make em this big ???? It would be very heavy if it was full !!!! And id be very drunk emptying it !!!
