The mountains 0f sedona, the great plains, the rockies and black hills were all inspirations, as well as the lives of the Sue and Apache indians. The inner tray tills into the lid and the bottom is lined with imitation leather. I sold it to fellow trunker who was a real sweetheart.
I am in the process of doing another one( G.&S. 1895) for her so that she can have matching end tables. They are similar but very different.

This trunk leaves me breathless, truly awesome work, love all the details, I could spend hours looking at it from any angle, this trunk captures the spirit of the early western frontier, Indians, wildlife, & land oh so many details, I can tell you put your heart & soul into this trunk.....a masterpiece!
Thanks Thunder I tried on both trunks to capture the spirit of the Indian and their sad demise ,These two pieces were hard to let go.
I can imagine how hard these are to let go, they are absolutely stunning in every way, you are very talented and creative & a wonderful heart to capture the spirit of the early life of the Indians, yes it was very sad, can't wait to see what you come up with next.....
