Mid century chair - needs identifying

Hello, I'm a novice UK-based upholsterer and have recently reupholstered this chair. First pic is its original state. It's a lovely mid century style and the man from the junk shop seemed to think it was something special. There were no labels/stamps on it and I've not dug anything up on the internet. Any help identifying would be much appreciated. Thanks.
