1940's - Gillette Blades Holder / Match Holder

This is a circa 1940's Gillette Razor Blades chrome-plated brass holder.
It is complete with a ribbed bottom so it could be used as a match-striker and match holder after the blades had been used. - 1 7/8" by 1" by 3/8"
Picture 3 shows scan of lid emblem which is stamped on both sides of lid;
"Gillette" and Known the World Over - emblem logo used 1901-1964
