Old clutch handbag, designers name inside partly rubbed off, help!

I found this handbag and am trying to figure out the designer. The name inside has partly rubbed off and is hard to read. It looks to start with an L. Maybe 6-7 letters long. It is a mesh material with plastic like beading in a chevron design. It also has a compact mirror sewn in the material. It has a long leather strap. The snap has writing on it spelling stooko? Stocko?
It's a red/ burgundy color. As far as I can see their are no missing beads. If anybody can help me at least identify the designer that would be a huge help!
