My great grandmother said her grandfather served coffee with this on the railroad. It states Western Pacific on the lid. It Also states Reed & Barton with the number 12 below the name on the ring around the top. I'm trying to place a age on this item. It is very sentimental to me. I have searched the internet and have never found one like this item.

Nice item! What you have is a Western Pacific "The Feather Route" water pitcher. It looks to be ca 1900's, Starting in 1928 Reed & Barton used symbols for each date year. look closely under the lid to see if there is a small symbol. It is a very nice and desirable Railroad collectable!

Thank you for the feedback. I looked under the lid and found no symbols. I did see the number 23. Wish I cod find the symbol. Thank you again
