I have had this piece for 50 years. The center mirror was replaced when it broke in the Northridge earthquake in 1972. It has a label on the back of the bottom piece that says Sturgis,Michigan. It is quarter sawn oak. I would appreciate ant information.

I agree with MrsWarren, the monkey is pretty neat.
I know that it is oak, could it be tiger oak? The monkey seems quite happy in her spot.
