Pottery Vase, signed

I am wondering if anyone can tell me the name that is on the bottom of this item. It is difficult to read but very unique and probably recognizable.
Any info on this piece would certainly be interesting. It is about six inches tall and the diameter is ten inches. It is a nice piece, just wish I knew more about it.
