    This statue was given from an 87 yr old thats said her mother owned it..But there are no markings on statue.I don't know anything about it.

      Think this is an apostle of Buddha...meditating in the peaceful position (?). Both his hands facing down means something. Gotta look that one up. Long ears means wisdom. As to how old he is...hard to tell from pictures...could be a week old or a century old.

      is this made of stone or resin? could be an Arhat or Luhan, maybe... what is in his right hand? that could be a clue.

      thank you both im not sure what its made out of. I was told by the lady she thought it was soapstone..
