I need help identifying the maker of this beautiful 7 inch crystal dish engraved with a coat of armor--a dog over the Latin "Frangas non Flectes" which means "Thou May'st Break, but not Bend Me". Internet research revealed an English company, myfamilysilver.com. that sells antique Victorian glass dishes engraved with this family crest and motto. Is this Waterford? It is not signed. The plate is heavy, beautifully designed with 10 loops The cut loops actually protrude from the back. The edge is cut with rounded teeth. The engraved dog and motto are very finely done. I did see a Steuben plate engraved with a coat of arms, just not similar to this plate. Any help is much appreciated!!
