This is a decorated wooden trinket box from Ottenhofen Germany.
Hand-painted with a strawberry blossom on the lid, leaves on the front.
Impressed in the wood lid is "Gruss auf (Greetings from) Ottenhofen"
It measures 3 1/8" by 2" by 2" high / lid is arched slightly / metal clasp
Circa 1950's / Ottenhofen is in the district of Erding, Bavaria, Germany
